Recent Haul-age

So I've accumulated a variety of things over the past couple of weeks while exam revision (procrastination) has taken over my entire life!

Possibly my favourite recent purchase are these Topshop Laser Cut Wedges! A perfect summery on-trend monochromic shoe!

 (£40 (from £80), Topshop)

Another item was this stunning neon pink satchel bag with studded details from Aldo.
(~£40 ELROOSIA Bag, Aldo)

Pulling a 'semi-happy' face with the new bag!
It fits perfectly with my recent obsession with bright, neon colours!

Also popped into Primark and picked up these cute little plimsolls! They're super comfortable and the sole feels cushioned so yeah, a lovely everyday shoe for uni!

Also, I took advantage of Boots' 3for2 deal on products recently and got a couple bits.

Finally decided to jump on the bandwagon and try the Revlon Lip Butter - I've wanted them for a long time but the price has always put me off a little - £8 for a lip butter is a bit steep since it's not even a luxury brand.

Another selfie with Revlon lip butter on.
It has a lovely soft texture and is quite strongly pigmented for a lip butter so it's just a lovely moisturising lip colour. I'm loving it! Was it worth £8? Definitely, with a Clinique Chubby Stick coming in at £16, this one for half the price is definitely a win-win product.

I also picked up this Rimmel Match Perfection Bronzer which came in around £6.

Rimmel Match Perfection Bronzer in 'Medium'

This product is visually really pretty but to be honest, when applied to the face it doesn't really do much. I don't know if I've picked up the wrong colour for my skin tone (although there was only once choice) but when I swatch it, not very much comes off and it acts more like a brown toned shimmer.

Would I purchase this again? Probably not.

So yep, these are all my recent buys and some quick reviews even though I should've have had the time for them - Naughty!

Hope you enjoyed reading this post :)

Topshop April Picks!

Revision = Procrastionation = ONLINE SHOPPING!

Here are some of the Topshop things I've set my lustful eye on.

'Tangerine Dreams' is apparently their selling point to this little gathering of juicy orange items!
The back. The back is just beautiful!
Kinda wish I still worked there just for the discounts...and the compulsory need to shop there!

Now this one, this one's just too sweet! Imagine that with a preppy pleated skirt - so sweet!

Now this dress is a beauty. Quite a hefty £65 price tag but definitely the sort of dress you do a double take on in the street - although I don't see everyone being its biggest fan!

Gorgeous though. Love how it's worn with a sleeveless collar shirt - perfect!

Had my eye on this beauty for a while and recently bought the all black version.
Right up the monochromic trend's street!

Can't do this post without a little tribute to these beautiful blue 'twistlock' sandals.
Might need these beauties in my summer life.
Those heels look painful though.
Beauty is pain.

Who doesn't love a bit of online gazing...there's to hoping!

Online Shopping Sites

I've stumbled across another few awesome online shops as of late!

Breaking Rocks Clothing

Not a huge amount of merchandise...well at the moment its 4 items but oh my goodness they make the most WONDERFUL sweaters!

This one is a definite favourite of mine.

Can't express my desire to have a cat enough - they are so cute!
I've spent hours watching cat videos before - it's a dangerous obsession.

Oh my goodness these persian and exotic short hair kittens have the cutest little faces! Yes, I love ugly animals...!

Rowdy Bags

Rowdy Bags make the cutest little rucksacks and duffle bags. As a geographer, I have a deep love for the world map patterned ones but the general designs of the bag are really sweet and pretty awesome!

#Beloved Shirts

Beloved Shirts make the most AWESOME sweaters and accessories.
Yes some are cat related but the selection is pretty decent!

Hahah SLOTH!
Sloths are cool.

Have a great day!

Elisabeth Lecourt and 'Les robes géographiques'

Oh my goodness these little designs are amazing!

I absolutely love the map prints (because I'm a geographer...of course) but they're just so small, cute and adorable! MAPS!

All I can say is SLOWLY SAVOUR their beauty!

The bow adds such a special touch to the yellow number.

That is all.

Blueberry and White Chocolate Muffins

Hi Everyone,

Haven't been blogging for an extremely long time but I think I'm ready to give it a go again.

Recently, I've been extremely busy revising for my first year university exams so I took a break today to bake myself some absolutely delicious (and horrendously sweet) blueberry and white chocolate muffins!

Recipe and instructions to follow after the following photos: the muffins got a bit needy and wanted to pose for the camera a little!

To make this easier, make sure you have these ready: 2 bowls, a fork/whisk and a wooden spoon.
This recipe will make 10-12 muffins and take 40 minutes to prepare and cook.

Ingredients you will need:

300g Plain Flour
100g Caster Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda
3 Teaspoons Baking Powder

3 Eggs
75g Melted Butter
150g Natural Fat-Free Yoghurt
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence

100g Diced White Chocolate
150g Blueberries

What to do?

1) Line a 12-hole muffin tray with 10 muffin cases (add more if you have excess muffin mixture)

2) Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5.

3) Put the dry BLUE ingredients into bowl 1 and mix until well combined.

4) Put the wet PINK ingredients into bowl 2 and whisk until well combined. (Do let the melted butter cool or it may cook your eggs!)

5) Pour the wet PINK ingredients into the dry BLUE ingredients and mix until just combined. (Usually I would call just combined when I stop seeing flour everywhere) Then, mix in Diced White Chocolate and the blueberries and give it a very brief mix until all is spread evenly.

6) Spoon 2 tablespoons of muffin mixture into the muffin cases and bake for 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown on the outside and come out clean when you stick a skewer through it.

7) Deservedly stuff your face!

Hope you enjoyed my random little recipe!
Tweet me a pic if you do stumble across this and choose to bake this beauty of a muffin! @pandorachu
