My Favourite iPad Games

Hi everyone!

So I'm a huge fan of my iPad and I absolutely love it - I carry it all over the house with me and whenever I travel! I do enjoy playing a good game on it so here are some of my favourite games on the iPad!

Uno & Friends

I've been really enjoying this game at the moment (as mentioned in my June Favourites post). Check that out to see my opinions on this game!

Hope you like my cute user photo in the game 'The Great Catsby' that I found on tumblr! How cute!
Not sure how much the other players appreciated my picture though...

Grand Theft Auto III

Quite a boy-ish game but I absolutely love the Grand Theft Auto games! Although its awful, I've been playing them intermittently (I've never owned the game) since I was 12/13 - influence of older cousins! I suppose my sadistic side enjoys this game slightly?

The iPad version is really fun and quite easy to control - both movement & shooting! There's also quite a large amount of missions to do so its definitely value for money!

Whale Trail

This game is absolutely adorable and I think its a game suitable for all ages - especially children as it features calm, happy music with bright colours and easy controls.

The aim of the game is to navigate the while up and down to eat these colourful rainbow bubbles in order to fuel it further -the whale is always losing fuel so crashing into grey clouds or not collecting bubbles will cause it to lose energy and end the game!

Take It Easy

Take It Easy is a great game and is slightly hard to explain to someone who hasn't tried it why it's fun! It definitely helps to engage your brain a little as the key to winning is by joining up hexagons with same coloured pipes in order to reach different sides of the hexagon and thus gain those points on the pipes.

There are a variety of different games with different rules as to how many points you have to collect, where you can put hexagons down and time limits. It teaches you how to play the game from the beginning which is very helpful and straightforward and before you know it you'll be on this game for hours!

I got this game free when it was the app of the week however currently its £1.99 on iTunes.

Draw Quest

I saw Draw Quest on another blog about a month ago and thought it looked so cute and fun! Although I don't play this all the time, I really enjoy it when I do and it definitely engages the creative side of my brain!

Song of the Moment

Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash, John Martin - Reload

Do you have any great iPad game recommendations?

Much Love!

OOTD // Tie Dye Upgrade

So I went out for Korean food with my family and our family friends all the way from Hong Kong a few days ago and this is what I wore! Originally I was just styling this shirt to see if it worked with my new necklace from the ASOS sale but I ended up just wearing it and going out!

(T-Shirt -, Necklace - ASOS, Skirt - Topshop)

I had the usual with my family consisting of a variety of kimchi and other Korean starters and barbeque for the main course - love beef bulgogi! Do you like Korean food?

I've been working for the past 4 days so been busy busy busy but I did see Monsters University yesterday! It was absolutely adorable and I truly enjoyed myself at the movies!  I'd definitely recommend the movie - baby Mike Wazowski is ADORABLE!

Speak soon!

Lots of Love,

Mayfield Lavender // Day Out

Hello Virtual World!

How're you doing?

Yesterday I decided to spend a couple of hours at Mayfield Lavender in Surrey! It was an absolutely beautiful lavender field and looked amazing in the blazing sun - heatwaves are great!

Here are some photos of my trip there - hope you enjoy flicking through! :)

Selfie in the Lavender!

It was an absolutely lovely afternoon and I ended up buying a cute little pot with bunches of lavender in it to decorate the house! It smells incredible!

Anyways, not much to update really! Been busy enjoying the sunshine and working!

Dalston House :: Leandro Erlich // Barbican Art

Hi everyone!

So last Thursday I journeyed to Dalston (East London) to see Leandro Erlich's art installation 'Dalston House' with my boyfriend, Matt, and my friend from school, Momo!

All the high quality photos are by Matt. (He's also my usual photographer hehe)

It's a really interesting piece of art where Erlich has built a house on the ground and this is then reflected into a large mirror on scaffolding above it. Visitors can then take photographs of themselves as if they're falling off the house/sitting on the window ledges!

Casually falling off a house / reading a paper!

Carrying two guys while on the ledge of a house - no sweat!

My OOTD // Top,Blazer & Skirt (Topshop), Bag (Zara) and Shoes (Aldo)
I really enjoyed the visit to Dalston House! Although it is a lot smaller than you expect, it's quite fun taking pictures and watching others do theirs - definitely a unique art installation worth taking a look at if you're ever in the area! We did however have to queue for 30 minutes so if you're not up for a relatively long wait for 5 minutes on the artwork then this probably isn't for you!

For more information click here
Dalston House is open until 4th August 2013 and its free entry!

P.S. There are a couple of photos I took from my instagram in the side bar!

We then went to Leicester Square and had Okonomiyaki at Abeno Too! My friend briefly worked here so we thought we'd pay a visit and try out this Japanese delicacy!

Sauce being applied to my Prawn Okonomiyaki

Okonomiyaki is a dough, egg, cabbage, spring onions (and other ingredients) mix and it's cooked very much like an omelette on the steel cooking plate infront of you. It's surprisingly filling and I absolutely loved the sauces they put on top - Japanese mayonaise (LOVE!), Okonomiyaki sauce, dried tuna flakes and a green powder which I think was seaweed.

Matt's Squid and Noodle Okonomiyaki
It was very tasty and it's really nice having it cooked infront of you however it is quite expensive for what it is! I'd definitely recommend it if you're ever interested in it!

I would post Momo's one but I...well, I defaced it with an artistic sauce image... ;D

Have you done anything interesting and arty recently?

June Favourites

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the lack of blogging lately - been so busy (and ill today) so haven't really had a lot of time to blog. If you'd like to keep in touch then please follow me on instagram (yinyinloves) and you'll be able to see some of my outfits and days out that I like to post pictures of!

Here are my June Favourites!

Fashion Favourites

I've been absolutely loving this floral sun top from Topshop (£26) and these distressed vintage shorts from ASOS (Currently Sold Out). They're great together but also really versatile pieces I can't wait to wear more since the weather's warming up here in England!

Beauty Favourites

Tangle Teezer
Absolutely loving this hairbrush - it's been doing my hair wonders and hair-rippage is on the low now!

L'Oreal True Match 'the powder' in Beige
I absolutely love this powder and this is the third time I've purchased it. It's not too cakey in consistency but also provides good coverage as well as reducing shine!

The Body Shop Mango Butter
I bought this a couple months ago and I absolutely love it! It smells like a dream and works wonders (like all the other body butters from the Body Shop) on my legs and arms!

Dr. Organic Tea Tree Blemish Stick
My mum actually picked this up for me from the pharmacy but it's got quite a unique roller-ball tip which makes application really easy especially if its over a general area when I think I have a spot forming. I find tea tree oil is most effective when you can feel the spot's about to pop up but hasn't fully inflamed yet!

The Body Shop Seaweed Night Treatment
I've been using this in the evenings and absolutely love it. It's a light serum/gel which is dispensed on a pump and is non-oily so really comfortable to go to bed in. It has kept my skin well moisturised and soft.

Rimmel Apocalips in 101 Celestial
This has been my favourite lip colour this month and I've been wearing it out everywhere! It's a lovely muted pink colour so it's quite natural looking while giving my face a good colour boost! I wish I was still as rosy as I was when I was a kid! :(

iPad Favourite

I've been absolutely love the UNO and Friends app on my iPad this month! It's so addictive and is so fun! Great way to spend hours scratching cards for free coins to play and getting revenge on people who play +4 Wild Cards on you!

It is such a pain that you have to wait to scratch cards/pay for coins in order to play against strangers - obviously I don't pay - so it really does limit your usage. Also I can't find a way to add my friends who also have the game on iPad - defeats the name of the game! I'd definitely recommend it - it's free on the app store!

Hope you enjoyed reading this!
Let me know if you have any recommendations for iPad apps and products - I'd love to try them out!
